Review of Morning Glory (2010) by Toma G — 06 Jul 2011

First of all, I can't agree that Morning Glory is a romantic comedy. I've actually no idea what "sort" of movie it is in the end. No question, there is a love line, but not ordinary one - we don't really see any complains or fights, this couple doesn't go through.. well, anything, those two just start dating and that's it. It's cool but the problem here is - it's just like that with every other "line" in this movie.

Carrier problems, morning television's life, it's all good ideas, I like them a lot, but in the end something is missing and it's hard to say what. Maybe running scene in the end looked too out of place or "underwear" episode reminded too much the one in Bridget Jones movie, anyway, it's just that sort of "ok - film", which you see once, kinda like it but never re-watch again.
