Review of Morgan (2016) by Adam T — 01 Sep 2016
Luke Scott's 'Morgan' (2016) is tense yet familiar. I think the film works solidly for the most part, though the first twenty minutes are spent having characters talk exposition which is unfortunate.
The film feels really similar to Alex Garland's 'Ex Machina' (2015) which is really annoying, because if 'Ex Machina' didn't exist, I'd be able to give 'Morgan' a really strong recommendation.
