A great little doc about the basketball team Lebron James played for before turning into (arguably) the world's best player. Does a great job of living up the film's title as this looks beyond just the sport covering themes such as family, friendship, determination, stereotypes (no, not race) parenting and redemption amongst others.

Even if you know nothng about basketball there's plently here to interest you, in fact the sport takes a back seat for the most part and it helps with the characterisation. Def gets better when they focus on Lebron's rise to fame, it doesnt feel airbrushed and isn't afraid to shy away from the negativity (poverty, no family apart from mother, ban from playing under dubious rulings) that could have held him back from greatness. Recommended if you can find it in the UK that is.......
