This is a basketball documentary about the rise of LeBron and his high school teammates and coach. The film includes some great messages for impressionable basketball players such as teamwork and committing to a goal.
You gain some perspective of James' Decision by seeing his relationship with his high school teammates and how he cherished achieving their goal together. However, let's be honest - this is good, but it is far from a Hoop Dreams.
It is unfortunate that the interviews are all years removed from graduation and the footage was all pieced together after the fact. While much seemed fabricated and biased, I was impressed by how moved a multi-millionaire like James still was recalling the peaks and valleys along his journey to high school glory.
