I am absolutely grateful for this movie! After graduating Nursing school in early May, I partied too hard and fell asleep after a few drinks. I woke up and realized it was June 24, 9pm. I panicked, it was the day before my scheduled NCLEX exam.
How could I have slept so long? I started to hyperventilate, I had not studied and my test was about 10 hours away. My mom saw me literally disintegrate before her eyes, she knew what to do. She bought Morbius on Apple TV, ordered some pizza and played it for me in the living room.
I relived my favorite movie scenes that night. When he said “it’s morbin time!” I instantly remembered the whole Brunner & Suddarth's Textbook of Medical-Surgical Nursing book. I finished the movie and went straight to sleep.
The following day, I took and finished my NCLEX in 50 questions. I was confident I would pass, and within minutes I received my RN license with a perfect NCLEX score.
