I don't see why people could possibly dislike this movie. This is on par with Venom I'd say. Jared Leto did a fantastic job portraying an anti hero with vampire-vibes, even before the transformation.
It was a good mix of action, drama and humor. I was very entertained and do not at all understand the IMDB rating of 5,x. I'd love to see more of it and really hope they continue with his story arc.
