Review of Moonwalker (1988) by Peter W — 05 Jul 2009
Obviously, after the death of Michael Jackson, this was always something that was going to be shown, and it was good to see it again, as I couldnt really remember all the different parts. This film sees Michael Jackson after the success of Thriller and still finds him at the toppermost of his career.
The film begins with a performance of Man In The Mirror, and then a retrospect with some songs from Michael Jacksons career to date, which has a very 80's feel to it, but I don't think at al corny.
Basically, if you love MJ, then you will love this. As all films go by musicians, it's a bit of a mish mash, but you do get the Speed Demon video, (which sees Michael Jackson dancing with a rabbit), Leave Me Alone video, and an elongated version of Smooth Criminal, oh, and also, Michael Jackson turns into a Transformer at the end of the mini movie, how cool is that.
.............well, not really, but, hey-ho.
