Review of Moonwalker (1988) by Beauty B — 21 Oct 2009
Very bizarre work from a even more bizarre man. It's basically a bunch of barely related segments where The King of Pop sings some songs. The only one he's NOT in would be "Badder", a re-make of his "Bad" video, this time cast with children.
The "Smooth Criminal" part is the show-stopper here. Joe Pesci makes for a good villain, but isn't given much to do... cos it's all about MJ, who transforms into a car, then a giant robot, then to a spaceship while he kills dozens of people. Uh-huh.
All in all, it's worth a look.
