Review of Moonwalker (1988) by John H — 08 Dec 2009
A very imaginative movie it really showed Michael's carrer through short clips of his music leading to an actually in-depth description of it. Although I felt uncomfortable in the middle of his "Smooth Criminal" scene, It was definitely worth the watch. I only wish that I could've seen it in its full glory on the big screen, but I loved it anyway. Another thing I would like to point out is when he debuts his remake of the hit Beatles song "Come Together" in this movie. That was a close second to his music video for "Leave Me Alone." I know many of you found it odd with how much was in there that gives the image of immaturaty, but I saw it as him trying to do two things:
1. Regain his childhood, and.
2. Tell the media to back off.
So once again, this movie is very much worth watching no matter the means (as long as it's legal).
