The fact is this really doesn't know what it wants to be. The plot (if you can call it that) is a mess and not anything special. The only really good bit is the Smooth Criminal song which is excellent. However during that segment I could barely understand what Michael was saying.
Final conclusion: Only watch it for the Smooth Criminal bit.
