Cher is actually quite magnificent, but I still hate Nicholas Cage in just about everything :~/ Shanley's script has some wonderfully romantic insights and sharp barbs, but overall, I thought it a bit draggy and implausible, especially in the development of Loretta and Ronny's relationship.
