Gooey and soft but charming and well written. Cher knocks it out, delivering a genuine performance without relying on her celebrity. Cage is alright but John Mahoney steals some of the best scenes alongside Olympia Dukakis.
Aiello is underused. A bit dated and not in a charming way, but not horribly so.
