Review of Moonrise Kingdom (2012) by Rod — 26 May 2013

I'm sorry, I try to appreciate Wes Anderson's work, and for some of his movies, there is some entertainment value. But this movie was just a waste of time and effort. I really hoped it would go somewhere, but "quirky and offbeat" for it's own sake, does not, in my opinion, make for a good movie or story.

If you are not familiar with and already a fan of Anderson's work, this movie will have you shaking your head and asking, "Why?".
