Review of Moonrise Kingdom (2012) by Niek S — 10 Aug 2013

A sweet story, a great cast and a script that actually feels genuine - something that feels so few and far between with most movies nowadays - Moonrise Kingdom is a charming movie about young love and a community's search for the two when they abandon their dwellings, run off with one another and what results is a humble story about young love.

Whilst the child acting definitely isn't the best I've seen as I could name a number of films where the child acting is top-notch, it feels and looks genuine enough to warrant the praise this film has received.
