Miss Moneypenny: Why are you so late, James?

James Bond: I fell out of an airplane without a parachute. Who's in there?

Miss Moneypenny: Q and the Minister of Defense.

James Bond: You don't belive me do you?

Miss Moneypenny: No.

With the success of Star Wars, Bond goes to space. Somehow this works, maybe because sci-fi is cool. Maybe because it has Jaws again. The story is good enough, and Bond gets a lot of globe trotting in, US, Venice, Rio and of course, space.

Hugo Drax: Mr. Bond, you persist in defying my efforts to provide an amusing death for you.

Roger Moore returns as Bond, this time investigating a stolen space shuttle case. This leads to an industrialist who's plan eventually is revealed to be a plan of destroying the world after stalking a space station with people, only to return and repopulate it. Absurd- yes.

Still, this is very much a Bond movie, and a fun one. Moore still approaches the role with all kinds of laid back charm. The Bond girl's name is Holly Goodhead. Jaws is still a fun character. The opening sequence is cool. Gadgets and laser battles are a plus. This is a fun movie.

Dr. Holly Goodhead: James?

James Bond: I think it may be time to go home.

Dr. Holly Goodhead: Take me 'round the world one more time.

James Bond: Why not?
