Review of Moonlight Mile (2002) by Nick L — 18 Aug 2007
After watching the incredibly moving trailer and waiting six months for this film to make it to my town...I was morbidly disappointed. Jake Gyllenhaal spends all of his screentime looking like a confused idiot, Susan Sarandon is as annoying as ever, and Dustin Hoffman is frustrating as the relentless peacemaker.
Worst of all is Ellen Pompeo's performance as Gyllenhaal's new love interest, which proves that she has been irritating long before "Grey's Anatomy" made her a star. If only the movie could have been half as great as the trailer for it.
