Deceivingly quiet yet immensely powerful. Otherworldly (to me) yet immediately relatable. An emotionally intimate portrait of the universal struggle to find and accept emotional intimacy. Moonlight is all things and more in a film that immediately commands your attention from the opening scene through to its closing frames.
