Review of Moonlight (2016) by Christian C — 28 Feb 2017
"Moonlight" is captivating, poignant, disturbing, ugly, beautiful -- and most of all, "Moonlight" is radiant. With excellent acting and superb directing, "Moonlight" tells a tale of human identity emerging from a world steeped in vulnerability, fear, isolation and the cycles of abuse visited most harshly upon oppressed communities.
It's is a thoughtful work of art well worth seeing.
