Review of Moonlight (2016) by Renee B — 16 Mar 2017
I didn't really want to see this film, but after it won picture of the year, I figured I had to give it a try. Yes the performances are great, and the cinematography is beautiful, but besides that, I could not get invested in the story.
It seems so many of the award winning films have too many slow moving scenes and are not movies I would want to watch again.
