Are you kidding me , Best Picture???

Slow, average acting and the star hardly talks!

I don't know what people are smoking when they give this movie such high marks.

Has anyone seen the movies: Lion, Elle, and Hacksaw Ridge??

Granted I can't stand Mel Gibson as a person.

But as a Director he did a brilliant job with Hacksaw Ridge and voters need to separate the person from the artistic production.

And why should the young lead actor who played a medic and conscientious objector be denied an award for Best Actor, because people hate Mel Gibson?

Lion was a great picture and the Golden Globes recognized Elle and Isabelle Huppert for her superb acting and best foreign language film.

It's a shame what the expanded Academy ( hundred of new voters added since last year's Oscars So White) has descended into!
