Review of Moonlight (2016) by Ray S — 02 Mar 2017
Interesting, emotional, different. By different, I mean you have this mix of two seemingly totally different genres: the growing up in the hood drama and the growing up gay drama. But obviously real life does not fit into preconceived, mutually exclusive genres so it's refreshing that such a movie exists.
I also like the nearly novelistic take on the main character's life.
