Do I think it deserves Best Picture? No. Is it still a good movie? Absolutely! While I don't think it's a masterpiece due to the slow first act and a completely nonsensical and one-sided incident at the end of the second act, the third act alone makes it worth watching.
There are better films out there, but this one still has plenty of merits to make up for the flaws.
