I usually like to see the Academy nominated movies, to see the creme de la creme of movie-making. However, I have been disappointed with some movies selected by the Academy (such as The Artist, several years ago), but I was also disappointed by Moonlight.
Although a good movie, I did not see Best Picture written all over it. I believe that there were other films more deserving.
