Moonfall is a ridiculous movie on many levels. The story has one fun scifi idea, but the way they go about it, it's just too over the top. The acting is just average and you feel like you can't blame the actors.

There are many moments were you get a McGuffin to justify why someone is doing this. Even the big reveal is kind of a let down. That said the visual and sounds effects are really good. The music isn't very interesting.

I give it 42%. If you want an apocalypse movie with absolutely no sens of logic, this might be for you. Otherwise it's hard to recommend just on the sympathy for the actors. Emmerich movies are beginning to be too formulaic, just like M.
