Review of Moon (2009) by Nick C — 03 May 2012
British director Duncan Jones' love letter of sorts to the sci-fi films he grew up watching (2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, etc), this is not only full of homages, but a beautifully put together work of art, with a performance from Sam Rockwell that an audience will struggle to get out of their heads.
A spectacular movie like this is a rare thing nowadays, and every once in a while you get some hope. Everyone should see this film, and I advise you to go into it with no previous knowledge of the plot, like I did.
Excellent. Really, excellent.
