Review of Moon (2009) by Aaron J — 25 May 2013
A psychological mind-bender that has twists that just won't end. Sam Rockwell really shows how much of a treasured actor he is. I can't give a plot description because I may accidentilly give away all of the twists.
Basically its about a man who is doing a 3-year contract on the moon and his name is Sam Bell, and his only company is a super computer named GERTY (voiced by Kevin Spacey). Moon is a film that we have all been waiting for, a film with such great dialogue, and such a great flow of emotions, and such heart-gripping suspense.
Duncan Jones (son of David Bowie) really has made a smashing impact. Duncan Jones may become one of the greatest directors of all time through his Hitchcock style of directing and his Scorsese-esque style of emotions.
Sam Rockwell had the hardest part of having to play more than one role and having to be beliveable against himself. This film really should have gotten Academy Award nominations for Picture, Director, Actor, and Screenplay.
