Review of Moon (2009) by Edwin E — 01 Sep 2015
Most underrated, and underviewed Sci-Fi movie of the century. While paying homage to the classic sci-fi films, most notably "2001", and "Silent Running", it is still fresh and original, and suspense filled up to the last moment.
Sam Rockwell is amazing as always. I just learned about this hard-to-find "film-fest" gem, and immediately sought out and bought the Blu Ray. It may be on NetFlix, but having had a limited run in the theaters through Sony Classics, it barely has recouped it's shoestring budget of $5 million at the box office.
Duncan Jones and crew though, have manged to extract every bit of that budget into making a classic masterpiece that fits nicely in the genre. See it soon, but don't google it, it's an easy spoiler film.
The less you know the more you will enjoy it...
