Super freakin beautiful and fantastical direction wise, but it felt long and needed more Audrey Tautou. This was so close to Amelie-style personality for her character that I wanted to love this. If only Gondry's vision could be matched with Eternal Sunshine-style script.
One thing he does is make things pretty. Plenty of French New Wave influence here.
