This portrayed some historical truths relating to the Puritans/Pilgrims and the Founding Fathers through documents and interviews with historians in England, Holland, and the USA in a somewhat engaging format regarding the origins of this nation on biblical principles.
It wasn't dry, like some "documentaries" can be. However, David Barton and Wallbuilders does a better job in presenting evidence on the biblical principles upon which our nation was founded in their American Heritage series.
