Growing up with this movie made a huge impression on me. The absurd brilliance of Monty Python help form my adolescent mind. I must have seen it a dozen times and the jokes never really get old - endlessly quotable.
Whereas, some of their other work can be a bit juvenile, Holy Grail remains their cinematic peak. Basically, if you're going to see one Python movie, it has to be this one. The amount of wacky, ridiculously original and insane set pieces throughout are staggering.
Only Airplane! can really compare,.
