Review of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) by Noel V — 26 Apr 2012
Easily the best thing the Pythoners did on the big screen, and a perfect companion piece to Bresson's Lancelot du Lac.Where Bresson used the camera to deconstruct the Arthurian legends, the Pythons used surealism and scatological humor.
Features one of the best pucnline I've heard in a Python film ("Well, you have to know these things when you're king, you know") and one of the strangest, funniest credit sequences in any film.
