Review of Monte Carlo (2011) by Taylor W — 18 Nov 2011
This movie goes beyond the wonderful lesson in beauty among imperfections. Definitely full of adventure, and the perfect romance possibility. The only problem was that Selena Gomezâ~s appearance and age donâ(TM)t match; she looks like sheâ(TM)s fourteen, even though sheâ(TM)s around eighteen.
Itâ(TM)s very difficult to get past that juvenile face; sheâ(TM)s very pretty though. She played two different roles amazingly when the two characters are complete opposites in personality. If itâ(TM)s not Rome, then itâ(TM)s Paris with sweet romances.
The valuable lesson here is to be yourself, and let people accept you for who you are, which surprisingly, a lot of people have trouble with. Society and Hollywood play a big part in destroying peopleâ(TM)s self-esteem.
Iâ(TM)m glad I stumbled upon this movie.
