By the time Monsters vs Aliens arrived at the cinema's. We had been spoiled with Toy story, Monsters inc, Shreck. Which left me with a certain high level of expectation from this movie. It didn't break any new ground for me, but was still a good Saturday night movie to sit in and watch.
