Review of Monsters vs Aliens (2009) by Clayton R — 27 Dec 2012
It suffers badly from a script so shallow it barely even has structure, and it jumps one step too far on emphasising its 3D technologies. Never the less, it's a well-animated, well-voiced, humourous bash with both a mildly engaging premise and lead, creative artistry and a surprisingly subtle tone and pace to go along with its continouusly entertaining and sarky referencing to older monster movies.
