Like Shark Tale, this movie is also a parody, this time of monster movies. The story focuses on bride-to-be Susan Murphy voiced by Reese Witherspoon who is hit by a meteorite only to find out that she has grown 49 ft 11 inch referencing a movie involving a 50 ft monster.
She is locked and named Ginormica at the same time she meets B.O.B. voiced by Seth Rogen, Dr.Cockroach Ph.D voiced by Hugh Laurie, Insectosaurus voiced by Jimmy Kimmel and The Missing Link, a fish-ape hybrid voiced by Will Arnett all referencing monsters such as The Blob, The Fly and going all the way back to the prehistoric age.
They work together as they try to stop the evil alien Galaxhar voiced by Rainn Wilson from taking over the world along with his computer voiced by Amy Poehler. The monsters and aliens were very creative in this movie as such and Susan is just a plain enormous human being rather than a mutated creature and I liked the idea behind that.
Monsters Vs. Aliens gets a solid 8/10.
