Review of Monsters, Inc. (2001) by Alvin Y — 16 Aug 2013
"It's as much fun to scare as to be scared." I think the person who said is a fearless and a brave person. Same Here with the characters of Mike and Sully. They both represent monster and human emotions that most movies these days fail to show.
There was Monsters Inc in 2001, and now in 2013, Monsters University, both great and both give a big lesson to kids and even adults about trust, friendship, and bond with other people whether you like them or not, no matter what it takes.
I love the 2 Monsters movies, the 2001 film shows that laughter is the best medicine, and not scaring. Whilst the 2013 film shows that try and try until you succeed, and also True friends stab you in the front.
Some critics claim both films to be cartoonish and less scary to be animated, I don't agree with them, they just missed the most important lessons that these 2 films gave to the people. Like many other Pixar movies, the purpose of these animated films to give a lesson to both kids and audiences, I never thought of any other Pixar movie that is terrible except for Cars.
So, once again Monsters Inc/University are joyful, entertaining, inspiring animated movies to come these generation. I wonder if there would be a sequel to this story.
