Monsters Inc is an original and heartwarming film which will melt the hardest of hearts. It's still an animation that reaches out to adults as well as children. The characters were loveable and memorable; my favourite has got to be Sulley. Monsters, Inc is about the monster world which is seperate from the human world and monster world of Monstropolis is powered by screams of children. At the Monsters, Inc factory, scarers venture into children's bedrooms and scare them in order to collect their screams. This is considered to be a dangerous task as children are considered to be toxic. The factory is going under as children are becoming harder to scare. The chairman Henry J Waternoose (James Coburn) relies on his top Scarer, James P Sullivan aka Sulley (John Goodman) who lives with his assistant and fellow worker Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal). One day when Sulley is working late, one of the doors is left often and a child ventures into the factory. Sulley learns that the child isn't toxic and he quickly grows attached to her, naming the girl Boo. Mike and Sulley embark on a mission to get Boo home safely.

Monsters, Inc is a good natured film with fun and imaginative characters. Monsters Inc I'm sorry to say isn't as good as Shrek, but like Shrek it's got heart and some valuable lessons. I think I last saw Monsters, Inc when I was nine or ten, when it first came out so it was refreshing watching it after so many years, this time as an adult. Films like Monster's, Inc always bring out the inner kid in me. Monster's Inc is also humorous, even for adults. I found, Roz (voiced by Bob Peterson), the slug like monster was hilarious! I love films like these, they always make me feel like a kid again. Sulley is just adorable, on of my favourite animated characters of all time and the ending made me want to blub. Monsters, Inc is unforgettable. Definitely worth watching no matter what you age is.
