Review of Monsters, Inc. (2001) by Abc D — 09 May 2014
I had high hopes in the first few minutes of this movie: Billy Crystal and John Goodman have a good rapport and bounce some decent jokes off of one another. Once it gets to the plot, however, it completely drops off.
The jokes abruptly end, the plot drags, and the ending is blatantly obvious from the beginning of the movie. Despite being clearly designed to be over-the-top cute, the little girl Boo is more irritating than anything.
