Review of Monsters: Dark Continent (2014) by Cody C — 13 Jul 2015
I watched this on Netflix, here is why. The photo they showed was of an interesting CGI creature chasing a Humvee. I figured I'll just watch the parts where the creature is. I got totally engrossed.
I liked the actors, the script, the camera work, the set, the music, the pace, the framing! I expected a syfy movie and I got something so much better. I dont know anything about war but for some reason, I thought this showed me something real about it.
I loved the first movie but did not know it was related to this. I would be interested to know if this in any way reflects the true feelings and fear of the front lines, regardless of which enemy is the scarier, the monsters or the human enemies.
