Know Your Enemy.
Hello Kiddies your pal the Crypt Critic here on Hallow's Eve and don't you just hate it when a movie you love gets a sequel it doesn't need? Well a few years ago their was this amazing from then at the time small film maker Gareth Edwards called Monsters, and some dummy said hey let's make a shitty a sequel and they did.
Seven years on from the events of Monsters, and the 'Infected Zones' have spread worldwide. Humans have been knocked off the top of the food chain, with disparate communities struggling for survival. American soldiers are being sent abroad to protect US interests from the Monsters, but the war is far from being won.
The film feels like a documentary which sucks out whatever fun I should be having, I mean I knew it was going to be bad but I don't want a boring movie. I thought this was going to be a fun movie. However I was wrong.
The performances felt like cardboard tv stunts from actors who couldn't give shit or have fun but saw the check and are like you know what.
Monsters Dark Continent doesn't have any the character sympathy, dread, suspense or action it should have. I'm giving this a one out of five.
