Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Matt B — 22 Mar 2008
This was a completely unsettling film both visually and emotionally. Mark Forster does a wonderful job of keeping this story both somber and compelling, while never once losing his audience's attention.
Every performance in this was spot on, and it is completely understandable why this is a film that is held in as much high regard as it was during '01. Definitely check this one out.
