Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Nd 2 — 23 Mar 2008
Halle Berry and Billy Bob Thornton play two people that are drawn together by tragedy and grief. They find solace and comfort in each other. Halle Berry got the Oscar award for Best Actress in a leading role. It sure broke grounds for black actresses!!!!
The real story here is the strife and pain racism causes and how it destroys lives.
Why anyone will want to look down on another human being is beyond my comprehension. This is 2008 people, not 1672!!!
Wake up and give people a chance to be successful and be somebody.
