Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Chin Y — 17 May 2008
Halle Berry at her best and showing Hollywood that beautiful, black actresses can have range and be amazing when given the right material...she did this movie for union scale....which isn't something to give her the Nobel Peace Prize for - but goes to show how as an actor if you get a script that's gold-dust you'll move heaven and earth to do it and if you have to,.
..you'll do it for free...because at the end of the day its always and always should be about the art and the work...
