Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Nick M — 27 Jun 2008
Load of rubbish made even worse by the fact it thinks it is good and controversial. None of the people in this were real, I couldn't relate to any of them. They didn't grieve for their kids when they died and apparent deep rooted prejudice just diesappeared at the drop of a hat (or dress in this case).
People without a brain will probably watch this and think it is great, that they have watched an intelectually highbrow film with a message. They haven't.
