Review of Monster's Ball (2001) by Patience W — 20 Feb 2009
This is a good film with a great story. It's actually a pretty depressing story because of the events that have to take place in order to lead two people, a black woman(Berry) and a racist prison guard(Thornton), together.
but still a good movie. No matter how good the story is, this movie could have been better. The performances by Halle Berry, Billy Bob Thornton, and Heath Ledger were great, so that little "something extra" that this film was missing wasn't on either of them.
