Review of Monsters (2010) by Alastair H — 06 Nov 2011
A suprisingly different take on the monster movie genre. Very little is seen of the monsters and yet they are still chilling and scary when they do appear. The effects aren't great by hollywood standards but this is a fantastic looking film when you consider it was made for only $500,000! I love the squid like design of the creatures and I thought the ending was intriguing and unexpected.
Great performances from the 2 leads! (8.5.11) (5.11.11).
