Review of Monsters (2010) by Frédéric H — 16 Jul 2011
Newcomer Brit director Gareth Edwards proves you can make a good movie with no special-effects, no stars and no huge crew in this suspenseful superor low-budget Sci-fi tale set in a distant future where aliens are running wild.
The tension is built up more effectively than any big-budget blockbuster and makes for a solid and gripping Sci-Fi movie aswell as revealing Edwards as the cleverest new directing talent in British cinema.
Superb stuff.
