A romantic travelogue first and foremost, with the digital shaky cam alien invasion stuff filtering onto the screen so infrequently, the title can't help but feel like a somewhat interesting bait & switch.
More 'African Queen' than 'Cloverfield'; not necessarily a bad thing.
