Review of Monsters (2010) by Sam K — 10 Mar 2012
The set pieces were the only thing keeping me watching. Seeing abandoned buildings, burnt out tanks, and beached ferry on the riverbank. The monster mating call/converstaion at the end was little too drawn out for my taste, but a wonderful addition to all the detail of the world.
You just kind of wished the two main protagonists had more their character actually flushed out.
