A strange yet utterly compelling drama. Whilst the screenplay & acting are just about good, the overall concept is fantastically original. To have an alien film that does not really focus on aliens & more on the characters is a novel & brave concept.
Gareth Edwards deserves a lot of credit for creating such a believable world (in theory & in amazing budget special effects!) that you almost forget the aliens are there.
